John Vargas is a Brooklyn based animator and Illustrator. He has studied in at the City College of New York, where he has obtained his Bachelors degree in Studio art with a concentration in Digital Design. John works with digitally as well as traditional mediums such as scratchboard along with pen and ink. He reads drawing books in order to learn the various approaches of drawing and animating. When he is not working, he is honing his drawing skills at the Art Students League, working on his own personal projects or reading folklore and superstitions.
